What to do if cracks appear on sanitary ceramics?
The streaks that appear on ceramics when they come into contact with metal often look like cracks. They can be identified by touch. The metal strip can be removed with a glass or ceramic (tile) cleaner.
The compact toilet is a perfect example of. Be sure to read the instruction manual in detail. When in doubt, test the detergent or ceramic care product on a small area of the side surface. This will allow you to avoid the use of aggressive detergents (those containing acids, alkalis or abrasives) that can damage the ceramic and its unique protective coating.
Should not be used:
Liquid and powder detergents containing acids, alkalis and abrasives;
Detergents for waste pipes;
Detergent for fasteners and metal accessories;
Washing powder for toilet bowls compact.
We recommend cleaning all parts separately. So, for example, cleaning agents for sewers, fixtures or metal accessories can be used without contact with the ceramic surface.
Advantages: thanks to the exceptional properties (minimum maintenance) of the coating, a high level of cleanliness and hygiene can also be achieved without aggressive detergents. The seller must provide advice on use and explain the terms of the warranty. To remove difficult stains, neutral solutions or liquid detergents that are used in the household should be used. Do not use detergents containing abrasives, acids or chlorine as they may cause yellowing or stripping of the protective coating. Make sure the toilet seat and lid are up when cleaning the compact toilet bowl with concentrated detergents.
Sanitary ceramics are resistant to temperature fluctuations caused by hot and cold water. Glazed surface resists scratches, discoloration, but does not oxidize. Also, the glaze is resistant to acids, solvents and alkaline solutions used in household detergents. Exception: hydrofluoric or hydrofluoric acids and their compounds. In case of contact with a ceramic surface, they must be washed off immediately. Please follow the instructions for use and care of the product.
